Ballet Project 2014: Part 4 – Falls at Spring Glenn
This is part 4 of the 2014 edition of the Ballet Project. This is a series I shot last summer and fall. These photos comprise ballet poses at beautiful unexpected locations around the Hudson Valley and Catskills region of New York State. Check back weekly for new posts on the Ballet Project.
These images were shot at a quite unknown spot in Ulster County called Spring Glen. Even though I had directions, we took a number of wrong turns on our walk. Eventually we arrived on a hot summer morning. That sun was fairly high in the sky to the light on the falls was not exactly what I was hoping for. Even so, the cave and falls really made for a magical feel to the images.
