Ballet Project 2014: Part 12 – Blue Hole
This is part 12 of the 2014 edition of the Ballet Project. This is a series I shot last summer and fall. These photos comprise ballet poses at beautiful unexpected locations around the Hudson Valley and Catskills region of New York State. Check back weekly for new posts on the Ballet Project.
On another misty day last summer we ventured back into the recesses of the Catskills. This time to visit Peekamoose Blue Hole. This is a famous swimming spot in the mountains. Lucky for us it was empty this day. The fog and overcast light made for an almost unreal fantasy world sort of look.
The light was so delicate that I needed to make my lighting the same. After an hour or so at this beautiful location we moved on.
