Ballet Project 2014: Part 10 – Peekamoose Falls
This is part 10 of the 2014 edition of the Ballet Project. This is a series I shot last summer and fall. These photos comprise ballet poses at beautiful unexpected locations around the Hudson Valley and Catskills region of New York State. Check back weekly for new posts on the Ballet Project.
Peekamoose Falls is located in the middle of nowhere in the Catskill Mountains. The falls are actually right off the road and are absolutely amazing.
We traveled up to the falls on a very foggy and overcast morning. The light was perfect to capture the falls. We posed at several spots around the falls and stream. I used a long exposure to give the water a silky look.
While we were there, we did have a small bus load of people arrive and explore around the area. We needed to shoot around them and wait for them to move out of the shots.
